P.T LTX - REDUSED DOUBLE/SINGLE SURFACE PARAWING

Simplified Hybrid Design, Engineered for Comfort and Endless Ocean Miles

At its core, the P.T. LTX introduces a newly developed hybrid airfoil concept featuring approximately 25% chordwise double-surface profile coverage, compared to the P.T. Hybrid’s 50% double-surface chord construction. This carefully optimised reduction in internal structure results in a significantly lighter, more compact wing while preserving a remarkably similar wind range and overall performance envelope.

The design adopts a lower aspect ratio than the P.T. Hybrid, and even slightly lower than the P.T. Skin, with a clear focus on compactness, stability, and intuitive handling. This geometry lets you deploy quickly, pack easily, and stow compactly in any condition, making the P.T. LTX a practical companion for riders who value performance and comfort on long sessions.

Positioned precisely between the P.T. Skin and the P.T. Hybrid, the P.T. LTX is designed for riders seeking the best of both worlds. It is the ideal choice for those who value maximum packability and simplified handling, while still wanting the smooth cruising comfort and extended wind range that define the hybrid concept. Its exceptionally short lines make stowing and redeploying remarkably easy, making it a highly practical companion for long, dynamic sessions. At the same time, the optimised canopy design delivers efficient, low-fatigue riding, encouraging longer, more productive sessions on the water. The P.T. LTX is designed for riders who want compact simplicity without sacrificing performance, comfort, or confidence across a wide range of conditions.

DESIGNER’S NOTE

After the overwhelmingly positive feedback on the P.T. Hybrid and its uniquely smooth, confidence-inspiring ride feel, my thoughts quickly turned to the next step in the evolution of parawings. The challenge was clear: to create a product with even greater stowability, shorter lines, reduced complexity, and non-inflatable wingtips for instant water recovery with zero relaunch delay, while preserving the high wind-range stability and cruising comfort of the hybrid concept—allowing riders to enjoy long sessions with reduced physical strain and less fatigue. The P.T. LTX is the result of that vision. Through extensive testing across a wide range of conditions, it proved to occupy a very distinctive position within our lineup, bridging the gap between the featherlight simplicity of the P.T. Skin and the performance-oriented smoothness of the P.T. Hybrid.
