A MODERN TAKE ON OUR RACE-WINNING SLALOM CONCEPT
OVERVIEW
With the introduction of the new Slalom X discipline in the PWA, we had to rethink our existing range. Slalom racing is no longer just about maintaining speed on flat water—today it demands explosive acceleration, control through jumps, and the ability to regain top speed instantly.
Whether you're landing from a jump, beach starting, or powering out of a jibe, acceleration is critical in the moments that decide the race. The new Slalom X boards are designed to deliver exactly that.
Riding higher on the water, they generate rapid acceleration and improved upwind performance while maintaining the exceptional jibing capabilities our slalom boards are known for. The result is a board built for the modern slalom course—fast, efficient, and ready to perform when every second counts.
SHAPE
OUTLINE A straight outline from tail to center for maximum tracking and jibing performance.
ROCKER LINE Refined rocker with slight tailkick for maximum control & a higher ride.
VOLUME DISTRIBUTION More volume towards the front to allow for early planing and acceleration on the 115. A balanced volume distribution on the 92 & 97.
BOTTOM SHAPE Under the back foot the board features a slight V. Between the front straps, a double concave with a subtle V enhances control and flow. Towards the mast track, the V becomes more pronounced, combined with a double concave and flat sections along the rails.
RAILS/TUCK Straighter rails in the tail section maximize top speed, while more rounded rails towards the nose enhance smooth and controlled jibing.
DECK SHAPE The deck is raised at the tail straps to increase leverage on the back foot, delivering higher acceleration and top speed. Around the front foot area, the deck remains flat to ensure smooth and controlled jibing.
PRO TIPS
WILLIAM HUPPERT (International Team)
"The Slalom X gives unbelievable control. It allows me to push the limits at high speed, especially in the high-wind range, and it's really important to feel confident around the course. The jibe is incredibly sharp and smooth, which also helps build confidence around the buoys. It's the perfect board for slalom riders and any speed addict, whether the spot is flat or rough."
